Saturday, April 17, 2010 Farrington Field (it’s a 3.5 mile walk)

Registration: 8:30 am and the Walk Starts: 9:00 am
*The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

Message from the Team Captain (Mama Gramkow)…
Dear Friends and Family of Team Gramkow,
Thank you so much for your love, support, and prayers to us and especially, to our sweet Ellie Jo...whether we live in Kansas or Texas. We’re so grateful for those who knew us when Ellie was born, and are also so blessed to have new friends to support Ellie and our family, here in Fort Worth, Texas.
We can't believe our lives turned completely upside down when our Ellie entered this world at 28 weeks gestation, and weighed only 2 lbs. 7.5 oz. 18 months ago!
We continue to watch our daughter grow and develop, and each day we are amazed that she's come this far. We so wish we could be the last parents to ever have to go through a 71-day, NICU experience, but that isn't the reality. We are so grateful for the the research and professionals in neonatology who commit their lives to helping our tiny babies.
Because our lives were changed by our preemie, we want to help the cause that keeps the research going! We, Team Gramkow are committed to giving back!
