Left or Right?
We think it's funny how Ellie has been favoring her left hand when feeding herself. We're a little worried we won't know how to teach her things! We'll have to call on Aunt Anna, Uncle David, Aunt Wendy and Uncle Greg to help us out. We'll see if it actually proves to be true....our Ellie...a lefty...hmmmm?
two fisting in the tub...but the one in the mouth...left hand.
(the "little feeder" filled with Watermelon...she seemed to like it) see...left hand.
reach with the left hand.
and in with the left hand.

Ben and Mandy,
ReplyDeleteDon't make this seem harder than it is, just quit paying attention to which hand Ellie uses and let her show you if she is really left handed, or maybe a little bit ambidexteroous like her Grandma Gramkow. She can copy the things that you do right handed with her left hand, and if she is really a southpaw, she will. If she is showing a decided tendency already, then she very likely is left handed. This would not be a suprise if both of you have left handed siblings.
Grandma Gramkkow
Mandy & Ben- Olivia is a lefty and showed a strong tendency from early on- I had the same thoughts as you! Told Wendy that her & Greg are going to have to teach her how to do things and I'd return the favor with their right-handed boys! :) Nothing wrong with a little southpaw!
