Synagis Drama yet again...
Well, there has been some complications with our insurance provider changing for reasons that were incorrect. Following up with phone calls have resulted in the fact that they cannot do anything about it until March - even though it was their fault. Frustrating! Anyways - this glitch has caused the pharmacy to need to "re submit" all their paperwork for the Synagis to the "new insurance" place and they called me this morning and still haven't gotten the authorization they need. We are on day 27 today and Ellie's supposed to get it administered from day 28-30 from the last injection. So here we go again with some insecurity as to if this is going to work out for Ellie to get the shot when she needs it. I might be making a trip to pick it up again if it comes down to it. The pharmacy is supposed to call me later today to keep me posted on the progress with the paperwork.
Prayers as this is very frustrating that it feels like "last month's synagis drama" is occuring again! :(

ReplyDeleteeverything will turn out for the best and you know ellie is a little fighter she will be just fine. I hate when people cant get their ducks in a row when it is something so important. Hang on mandy. my mother use to tell me when i had a problem to let go and let god deal with it, of course as a mother i already know you are going to make a million calls if needed but that is what we do. Our babies only have us and you and ben have really did your jobs well. hang in there

Let me know if you need a riding buddy again!
Love ya and we are of course praying for that darn shot and those darn insurance peeps to get it together.
LOVE YA
I'm available again if needed! I also have dealt with calls, hassle and insurance stuff, and you have my sympathy, because they can be incredibly frustrating. Reminds me of a saying that Ben's Aunt Louise once called the "teacher's prayer" : 'Lord give me patience, and I want it right now!'.
