Miss. Ellie's Monday

Update from last night: Sleepy girl! They suctioned her at midnight and got some gunk out this time finally - apparently they didn't like her "pig" noises :) She had 3 desats all night and a couple nurses held her during her feedings. I think she likes being held! As of this morning: She's had 1 self-resolving a and b and then one desat. She had her heart ultrasound (EKG) this morning around 9 am to see if that PDA vessel is still open and to check out the status of her murmur. She got a bath this morning and the feeding consult is scheduled to come at 3 pm today. I'm interested to see how that goes. We're taking off for Kansas City tonight as Ben has his interview with Garmin tomorrow morning at 8 a.m! Prayers! Prayers! Prayers! Also please pray for Ellie as (they took her off her caffeine yesterday to see how she will do)today is the real testing day. The caffeine should be getting out of her system. This is great progress that we're even at this point to "test" her off the caffeine, but mom's still a bit nervous.

  1. This Grandma will pray especially for little Ellie, because she will probably have a caffiene withdrawal headache. Having been there and had those before I sympathize with the little princess. If she is fussy, it's no more than what you should expect.
