Saturday Morning Post

Miss. Ellie had a bit of a sleepy day yesterday. The nurse did try feeding her last night at the 9 pm feeding and she only took 5 mL. They reminded us that they might have the speech therapist/feeding consultant come in and look at her if she's not progressing by next week. It's ok...we'll wait for you Ellie! This morning's updates indicated that she had 7 desats and 2 bradies (which is more than usual for Ellie) so we are wondering if Ellen will up her caffeine dose. Also, Ellie didn't really wake up for any of the feedings last night - maybe the exercising really did tire her out! She did have a giant poop this morning at the 6 am feeding. Wahoo! And yes, praise Jesus for normal functioning bowels! She's still at 48 mL because she didn't gain quite enough to add another mL. So Ellie's weight is up to 2400 grams which is 5 lbs. 4.6 oz. Another Gramkow Gain!
