NICU Sprawl

Here are a couple good pics of Ellie all sprawled out at her 8 o'clock assessment tonight. She weighed a whopping 2015 g this puts her at 4 lbs 7 oz as well as getting her over 2 kilogram mark! Yet another milestone left in Ellie's dust! Now that she is over 2 kg she can get her Hepatitis B vaccine. This will be her first vaccine ever. Some of you may notice that in the lower picture (where she is getting weighed) that the scale says "2020" as in 2020 g. That's right, she was tipping the scales at 2020 grams and then that 5 grams must have melted right off before the nurse looked at the scale. Ellie must have thought she was getting too fat. No girl, far from it. Addition by Mandy: Actually the nurse reweighed Ellie - the 2020 was from the first weighing - there were some wires pulling on the first one.

    Way to go, Miss Ellie! (or is that "weigh to go!") We're just so stinkin' happy that she's thriving and packing on the pounds, er, ounces.

    I showed these pictures to Evan and he was jealous that Ellie has so much hair! She sure is a little cutie pie.
