Assurance of insurance ... and Something More

Our "case worker" at the NIC dropped by yesterday to ask about our insurance. Even before the premature birth Mandy qualified for Healthwave insurance for this pregnancy and (thus) Ellie qualified for Children's Mercy coverage. The "case worker" pointed out that Ellie would be going home at the start of cold and flu season. As such it is recommended that she have RSV shots. This includes a series of six shots costing $1500 each. Our case worker informed us that Children's Mercy covers 100 percent of the cost for these shots. This is yet another huge blessing.
