Project One Complete

Ellie's first project was to begin breathing on her own. It is not uncommon with premature babies for this project to carry on for weeks or months. Since Ellie has been breathing so well the nurses moved her to a low flow nasal cannula (she had previously been on a high flow nasal cannula). And also today, as the nurses weaned her off of the low flow cannula, the breathing assistance was removed completely! Ellie continues to amaze us all.
